Predator of the Night Upgrades
The Home Depot Predator of the Night has a bent-leg stance that creates constant lateral stress on the knee tubes, making knee failure the primary issue. The shoulders also detach after 2+ seasons as the ABS connectors weaken. Mello's offers knee braces, ankle supports, shoulder upgrades, and Napier Plates adapters in ASA, ASA+CF, and premium PA6-CF (nylon carbon fiber) for maximum rigidity.

Predator of the Night FAQ
Why do Predator of the Night knees bend?
The Predator's bent-leg stance puts constant lateral force on the knee tubes, unlike the straight-legged 12ft Skeleton. Over time, the ABS tube joints deform permanently, causing the legs to bow further. Mello's knee braces clamp around the tube junction to distribute the load and prevent bending. Available in ASA+CF or PA6-CF (nylon) for the highest rigidity.
What is the Napier Plates adapter for?
The Napier Plates Shoulder Adapter Set ($43, set of 2) is designed for Predator owners who use the aftermarket shoulder plates created by Napier Lights. These adapters bridge the gap between the Napier plate geometry and the Predator's torso mounting points. Only needed if you have Napier Lights modifications installed.
